Control Room Operator

• Location: Pettoranello del Molise

Purpose of the position

The Control Room Operator ensures the plant’s operational continuity by monitoring processes from the control room, managing any anomalies, and coordinating shift operators. They perform these tasks while reporting directly to the Operations Manager, with whom they align on key operational needs.

Responsibility

• Ensure normal plant operations by monitoring the process on the control room displays.
• Manage anomalies detected in process parameters or alarms on parts of the plant or process.
• Coordinate the activities of other operators on shift regarding routine/occasional plant management operations.

Main Activities

• Implementation of the procedures set forth in the Operational Manual and the Safety and Environmental Management System
• Direct communication with other operators on shift to physically inspect faulty instruments/equipment and coordinate corrective actions
• Process correction based on laboratory analyses of the finished product, wastewater, and incoming product
• Plant safety measures for any corrective action by mechanics/electrical instrument technicians
• Emergency management
