La ricerca al servizio
della circular economy
con un approccio integrato alla gestione dell’intero ciclo dei rifiuti.
At the Heart of Molise
Each day, we select, process and add value to post-consumer waste, guiding it through a true journey of regeneration so that it can be transformed into secondary raw materials ready for use in new production cycles.
Turning ideas in new opportunities
Within our research and development laboratories, materials are transformed into high-quality polymers through three distinct processes.
Extrusion
Moulding
Spinning
This is only the beginning: a pyrolysis plant is currently under development, designed to produce pyrolytic oil a strategic resource for the future of energy and circular chemistry.
Transform every waste into a resource
Putting into play the 4 Rs of the circular economy:
Reduction
This approach will allow us to reduce the need for raw materials in the manufacture of new products. Therefore, proper waste separation is essential: paper, glass, plastic and aluminium must always be collected separately. Each of these materials requires specific recycling techniques and processes. Disposing of them together does not support environmental protection and limits the effectiveness of recycling.
Reuse
We are committed to extending the lifespan of products once they are purchased, using them for multiple purposes whenever possible. This approach helps reduce the amount of waste generated, prolongs the life of the goods we consume and limits the continuous use of virgin raw materials.
Recycling
We can make more responsible choices by selecting products with minimal or no packaging, such as bulk detergents or refill solutions. Using fewer materials in a product reduces the need for disposal and, even if limited, helps decrease the environmental impact generated by recycling processes.
Material recovery
At the end of a product’s use and reuse cycle, when it can no longer serve its original purpose, we aim to recover additional materials that can be used again including, where appropriate, through energy recovery. How? Waste can be used as fuel in waste-to-energy plants: by processing it, volumes are significantly reduced while energy is generated, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable resource cycle.
