Within the area of the Tufo Colonoco industrial hub, the Company has developed a biogas capture network that collects the biogas produced by waste and conveys it to the cogeneration plant.
The plant, with a nominal capacity of 625 kW, generates electricity through an internal combustion engine. With an operating time of approximately 7,500 hours per year, the cogenerator produces around 4,700 MWh annually, which are continuously fed into the local electricity distribution grid.
