Extruder Operator

• Location: Pettoranello del Molise

Purpose of the position

The Extruder Operator ensures the proper functioning of the extruder, monitoring process parameters, managing any anomalies, and ensuring operational continuity and quality. They carry out their role by reporting directly to the Operation Manager.

Responsibility

• Ensure normal extruder operation by monitoring machine operation on the extruder displays.
• Manage anomalies and implement corrective actions in consultation with the operator in the control room.
• Implement procedures outlined in the Operational Manual and the Safety and Environmental Management System.

Main Activities

• Implementation of the procedures outlined in the Operational Manual and the Safety and Environmental Management System
• Direct communication with the logistics operator to ensure the continuity of the product flow to the extruder
• Housekeeping of the work area
• Management of waste water flows and other fluids required for machine operation
• Management of extruder ancillary services and implementation of routine activities outlined in the operations manual (suction system, filters, scrubbers, water quality, cooling circuits, etc.)
