Purpose of the position
The Laboratory Specialist ensures the accurate execution of laboratory analyses and the monitoring of material and process quality, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. They support production operations by providing reliable and timely data, reporting directly to the Operations Manager to align analytical priorities and the plant’s technical needs.
Responsibility
- Routine analyses of shift production and incoming/outgoing materials in accordance with established sampling protocols
- Routine analyses of process fluids and waste (liquid/solid) in accordance with established sampling protocols
- Preparation of analysis certificates for internal use or to accompany outgoing products for sale
- Preparation of laboratory analysis reports
- Maintenance of analysis archive for traceability
Main Activities
- Product analyses, preparation of certificates and traceability records
- Analyses of incoming materials and related acceptance/rejection records
- Analyses of rejected materials, preparation of certificates and records
- Analyses of process fluids and records
- Preparation of accompanying documentation (transport documents, analysis certificates, forms, etc.) for outgoing materials (oil sold, waste, etc.)
Role requirements
- Training path:
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology
- Knowledge of languages:
- English B1
- IT Skills:
- Word – Basic
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate

- Email – Advanced
Technical Skills
- Previous experience in chemical analysis laboratories is preferred.
- Ability to perform Q-checks on process fluids and wastewater.
- Ability to perform Q-checks (infeed feedstock & outfeed PyOil for sale).
- Ability to perform Q-checks and PyOil batch checks for storage.
