For over thirty years, we have been building a future that wastes nothing

About us

Our story began in 1989 in Molise, when we thought waste could be seen not only as refuse, but as resources awaiting a second life. Since then, our family enterprise has grown with a singular purpose: transforming what the world considers a problem into a tangible opportunity for value, protection and future prosperity.

Over the years, we have developed an integrated waste management model built on a simple but powerful belief:
sustainability is not an end goal, but a daily commitment.

At our hubs in Pozzilli, Tufo Colonoco and Pettoranello del Molise, we accompany every material on its path of regeneration: we select it, treat it, and transform it into new raw materials, clean energy, and solutions that feed back into production cycles without waste.

Today,Recupero Etico Sostenibile is a leading name in the circular economy and, since 2023, listed on Euronext Growth Milan. What truly defines us is not a milestone, but our identity: people who believe in the power of regeneration, responsibility towards the environment, and the duty to leave a better legacy for future generations.

We are RES.
We are the choice to transform waste into opportunity.

Mar 1989

Dump

Since 1989, RES has been operating in the construction and management of landfills, taking care of the collection and sorting of waste with a responsible and structured approach.

Apr 2008

The launch of the TMB

In 2008, the TMB plant was launched, marking the beginning of CSS production and the evolution of the industrial model towards increasingly structured and efficient recovery.

Apr 2014

Organic waste

In 2014, the composting plant began operating, expanding the organic waste recovery process and transforming waste into a new resource for the local area.

Apr 2016

The selection is born

In 2016, the sorting plant began operations, a key step in improving the quality of material recovery and making the entire waste recovery process more efficient.

Jun 2019

Research and future

In 2019, RES transformed the former industrial hub of Pozzilli into its R&D Center. Here, waste expertise becomes applied research, creating solutions for the circular economy.

Jun 2023

Res goes in the market

Listed on EGM (Euronext Growth Milan), it confirms its commitment to transparency and growth in the financial markets.

Jul 2024

Innovative HUB

In 2024, Res created the Innovative HUB for Plastic Recovery. This space is essential for optimizing recycling processes and valorizing plastic waste.

We give new life to materials to protect the planet

Mission

We transform waste into value, driving a circular economy model that becomes a daily, conscious and shared choice, inspired by the principles of the 4 Rs.

Reduce means to consume carefully
Reuse it means giving more time and more value to objects
Recycle is transforming waste into opportunities
Recover when you give an object a second chance

Polymeres

At the heart of RES’s innovation is the new “Polymeres” Research and Development Center, equipped with advanced laboratories for analyzing and testing plastic materials. Here, materials are studied not only for what they are, but for what they could become.

The business lines include:

Characterization of polymers
Characterization of polymers

(chemical-physical, thermal, mechanical and rheological)

Prototyping of compounds and semi-finished products on a laboratory scale
Prototyping of compounds and semi-finished products on a laboratory scale

(extrusion, injection molding, melt spinning)

Quality control of products and processes in RES plants
Quality control of products and processes in RES plants

Polymeres is not just a research and development center, but also a place where science meets sustainability, with the goal of turning waste into our resource and producing new materials with high added value. Every activity is a step forward toward the circularity of materials.

Goals

Sustainable and rooted ecology

Our vision for the future is clear: to give back to the region something that improves people’s lives and stands the test of time.
Our commitment is to build a future that doesn’t consume, but gives back with a return of trust and value for the people
and for the region that hosts us. Because an ecological future is only beautiful if it is also sustainable and rooted in the land it loves.
