Advanced plastic sorting plant (Pettoranello)

The advanced sorting process makes it possible to divide the incoming plastic packaging waste stream into several homogeneous fractions, based on polymer type and colour, with very low impurity levels ensured by both automated and manual sorting systems.

The plant can be scheduled to operate on a 24-hour cycle, with a potential increase in annual capacity of up to approximately 80,000 tonnes per year, subject to regional authorisation.
